Community Family Care’s Sasha Brown and Rae Edwards recently attended a KEEP training course.
This week long course has been developed by the Oregon Social Learning Centre and is an evidence-based model for supporting foster carers, aiming to reduce placement breakdowns and improve carers confidence.
We were very lucky to be trained by JP Davis and Peter Sprengelmeyer who are leading experts in the field and flew over from Oregon to deliver the training.
There are only a handful of practitioners trained to deliver this model in the UK, with Community Family Care and Community Foster Care being the only independent charities trained, so we are very excited to be part of this pioneering program!
We are now taking bookings to deliver this training. Please contact Sasha for more information and costs.
