A big thankyou went out to shoppers in Gloucestershire when ASDA presented Community Family Care with £100.
The supermarket regularly asks shoppers to donate a green token to one of three local charities which receive a share of £300.
“We were really chuffed to get £50 from both Gloucester and Cheltenham,” said Family Care Manager Sasha Brown. “It means a lot that shoppers care enough to support us.”
Sasha and Family Support Worker Leia Rosenberg accepted the two cheques on the charity’s behalf from ASDA’s Community Life Champions at the stores in Gloucester and Cheltenham.
Community Family Care is a charity based in Staunton which provides community-based support services in Gloucestershire, including training, support and guidance for families. Its key purpose is to enable children and families to stay together.
