From 29 April to 3 May 2013, staff at Community Family Care and Community Foster Care are going to be living on just £1 a day for all of their food and drink as part of the Live Below The Line Challenge for Unicef. £1 is the UK equivalent of the extreme poverty line and living on so little will give us a glimpse into the challenges faced by the 1.4 billion people who have no choice but to live below the line every day.
This isn’t going to be an easy challenge and we’re already panicking about how we’ll be able to afford to eat cheese and chocolate! So please join us and offer your support as we embark on an interesting week. Unfortunately no cheeky free snacks are allowed!
You can find out more about Live Below The Line at www.livebelowtheline.com/uk and can sponsor us at www.livebelowtheline.com/me/SashaB.
